I had the good fortune of being connected to Doug Browe, an experienced potter and head of the Mendocino College Ceramics Department, who is firing a two chambered wood kiln this month with a group of friends and students.  I've been invited to join them for a few weekends of preparing, loading, firing, and unloading.  Photos of the loading are below.
